Adjustable membrane pressure switch

An always on or always off pressure switch activated by the deformation of a rubber membrane seal caused by pressure change. Multiple inlet locations can be produced from one tool by the use of tooling core inserts, also the internal air path design allows the same inner core block to be used. The pressure switch is adjusted using the screw on the side, loosening or tightening this screw will cause the sensor plate on the inside to move backwards and forwards, the shape of the sensor plate means that this movement will change the separation between the sensor and the activation pin. The always on mode is used to sense a set negative pressure as the sensor plate will always be in contact with activation pin until the negative pressure is high enough to cause the activation pin to separate from the sensor plate. The always off mode is used to sense a positive pressure as the activation pin is always separated from the sensor plate until the pressure is high enough to press this pin onto the sensor.
