Needed a mic stand for my desk. Didn't like the available options so I made something simple.
2 different mounts, one with two screw holes for mounting permanently and one with a vice for temporary mounting.
Vice mount swivels.
Uses 2 8/32 X 2" bolts & 2 nuts.
Bolts attach the arms together & the lower arm to the mount. Then screw into the knobs for easy adjustment.
Mic clip uses the printed bolt.
Adjust position by loosening the bolts, moving the arms to the desired position and retightening.
Mount the mic only once arms are locked into position.
Print between 50-100% infill, heavy on the walls 8 or more.
I used PLA+ and it's holding up to a Shure 57.
I have a version that uses all printed hardware but the arm bolts have not passed the test.
Will post if they ever do.
Modded the Universal Mic Clip to have texture & printed bolts were modded from Nut Job Bolt, Washer & Threaded Rod Factory.
