Mountingadapter for the TFA WeatherHub Wind Sensor.
You will additional need:
1x M8 Hex Cap Bolt
1x M8 Hex Cap Srew Nut
1x M8 Washer (big)
2x M4 Bolt
Simply mount the part called "Wandbefestigung" on a wall with four woodscrews.
The part called "Einsatz" needs to be prepared with the M8 bolt.
After you inserted the bolt in the object, you need to mount the original holder on to the round plate. Use the two M4 screws and the original two M4 nuts.
On the next step you need to adust the sensor towards north (like it is described in the manual). Use the printed hexagons to adjust the direction.
When done, simply put the washer together with the nut on the bolt and thight all down.
I printed the parts in PLA with 30% infill, 0.3mm layer height and no supports.
So far, the PLA withstands the sunlight and heat pretty nice. ( max. temp was +36°C so far.), but maybe ABS is a better choise.
