An adjustable runner for miter tracks (e.g. in table saws, band saws, etc.). It is designed to be adjusted to have zero wiggle in the slot before installation in whatever jig or sled you want to use it for. Thereby you can get super accurate crosscuts or miters with you respective jig. The adjustment process is pretty straightforward: Put some superglue on the ledge on the main part where the wedge will go (along the whole length, but not so much that it will squeeze out)Add the wedge onto the main partWorking quickly, place both in the miter slot (wedge side on top)Adjust the width by shifting the wedge along the slider until there is no horizontal wiggle room left (but not so far the the slider wont slide easily in the slot)Wait for the glue to harden (or spray some activator on it if you're impatient)Chop or saw off off the part of wedge that is sticking out.You can then use the slider (or several of them) for whatever woodworking jig you're building.
