Advent Calendar Construction Set

A friend of mine was looking for an Advent Calendar so I thought it would be fun to try to make one. I wanted to be able to both make a 5x5 style box or a Christmas tree shaped box (or a cursor arrow if you like), to have space for a truffle or two, and be printable on my filament printer. The hinge parts will need to be slipped onto the door and then glued into the box. No supports should be needed. Read Luke 2 and remember the reason for the season that Jesus came to seek and to save that which was lost!

I added a hanger hole to a box to help hang the design on the wall. Consider making one or more of these boxes with hanger holes to support the design on the wall.

I imagine for the Christmas tree configuration, painting the door handle balls different colors will look like ornaments on the tree. ;-)
