adventurer 3 spool adapter

Yeah very over engineered but i wanted it not to move and strong (looks like it will hold way more than 1kg lol)

Printed the shaft so far which is a very snug fit, and it fits perfectly


Works amazing well

due to center of rolls being different Ive made peg smaller and added sleeves to increase diameter of peg if rolls are bigger

also added a washer for the peg and medium sleeve to stop rolls rubbing body of machine

if u saw original filament guide ive changed that to for stability

finally i made peg longer as someone had issue that their roll width was 80 mm wide

i use a filament dust filter after guide as well


didn't think i could make my design better but its perfect for me now

Ok Update

found a scad spool adapter and decided to get rid of the pink and incorporate it into my design which meant redesigning shaft with a nut

nut is a little loose as i always battle to get tolerances right with nut and bolt
