AeroPressFilterWasher

Update 6.26.25: A redesign of the "spokes" that aims to minimize overlapping features. Also added a bulbous end to one of the handles to make separating the two halves easier. Calling this the AeroPressFilterSaver to differentiate from the original.

Recycling AeroPress filter paper is probably not worth the effort. I just looked at eBay and see I can get 700 discs for $18 (with free shipping!). That works out to about 2.5 cents per cup. But that didn't stop me from designing this "print-in-place" hinged filter washer. I was amazed to see this thing worked perfectly right off the print bed. As with all print-in-place designs, be gentle as you mobilize the joint. Tolerances are quite close and if you're too aggressive, it's likely to break.
