AFM gold nanoparticles

Gold nanoparticles have been produced by gas -phase synthesis and deposited on a flat silicon surface. This technique allows the production of clean, surfactant free nanoparticles.
The image of these nanoparticles has been acquired using Atomic Force Microscopy (AFM).
The image size if 2 microns x 2 microns.
