Airbus Flap Panel and Handle with step functionality

Airbus Flaps Panel and Lever for simulation purposes. Includes step functionality to allow it to jump into the five settings (0, 1, 2, 3, FULL).

Haven't included any design for position sensing yet. Solutions online appear to use either a variable resistor connected with gears or microswitches to detect which position it is in.

Background

By increasing the camber (greater lift coefficient CL) and surface area of the wing, the flaps increase lift . Hence, the aircraft can lower its speed for landing, requiring shorter runways.

Notes:

* The long rod is intended to be M4 Aluminium.
* No provisions (yet) for springback of the stepping mechanism. Could probably done by drilling out a wider hole for spring between know/ step lock piece or adding a rubber band in the lower half.
