AirHogs Heli Missile

My son asked me to print some of these for his new toy. I guess he plans on loosing the one included in the package so I took a bit of time to model it. The flat side can be rounded after print and the fillets for the aligning/holding rib can be flatten so the missile stays in the heli ready to fire.


I'm hoping it can be printed without support or raft.

UPDATE: It did not print well standing up so I cut it in half and will try to print it in two pieces and then glue them together.

Printing them in half and then gluing them together seems like a good approach. It work out fine. No need for support or raft and there is very little clean up after print.

Another version of the thing file has thinner missile shaft and a mix of the ribbed and non ribbed for the different helis that can fire these missiles.
