The conical threads got stripped on mine, causing the ejector "star" to jump out of the cylinder. This part in PLA has worked flawlessly for me through many reloads.
To install, heat up the threaded end of the metal part it goes into. Only needs to be hot enough to make the PLA malleable. Then screw in slowly and as straight as possible. Then let it cool for a few minutes.
