Airtight Silicagel Bottle Storing silica gel neatly and conveniently is something anyone understands after spilling it once. These tiny elastic beads have a mind of their own: drop a handful, and suddenly half the room becomes a battlefield. That’s exactly why I made a compact airtight bottle for silica gel with proper, controlled dispensing — especially when using nylon sachets. The neck diameter is chosen so the beads don’t clog, don’t pour out uncontrollably, and don’t require shaking or convincing the bottle to cooperate. Pour in — done. No rituals. The cap uses a standard silicone O-ring. It provides real airtightness, not just the look of it. In the model description, you’ll find a link to the correct ring diameter, so there’s no guessing. This bottle is only a small part of a much bigger project of accessories for 3D printing, filament storage, and general workspace organization. I already have over twenty finished models, but there’s no point releasing everything at once. Consider this a soft announcement. The full picture will come later — and then it’ll be clear what connects all these pieces. Before this bottle, I used to print mesh containers for silica gel, drying everything together with filament or nylon. But crushed silica gel particles would slip through the mesh and puncture vacuum bags for spool storage. It happened regularly, and ruined bags are unnecessary loss. I went looking for alternatives and found simple nylon sachets. They cost just a few cents, tolerate drying, and work perfectly for dosing. No reason to waste plastic on printed boxes when these perform better. I printed the label separately — raising the Z-height just to change filament color would be an exercise in patience. The label is only 0.3 mm thick and bonds instantly with dichloromethane. If you want it — use it. If not, leave the bottle clean. If you have only one bottle and know exactly what’s inside, you don’t need a label at all. I printed everything in matte filament. This
