AJA Hi5 Mounting Bracket

This is a mounting bracket I designed for some installed AJA HI5 SDI-to-HDMI devices we have behind our sets in our television studio. I think it would work for the HA5 (HDMI to SDI) as well as some of the other miniconverters that AJA has in this size. If the spacing is the same on their holes, then in theory it would also work for the FiDO, albeit with a lot of overhang on the top and bottom.

The attachment screws for the device are 4-40. I wouldn't get anything longer than 3/8"--I had some 1/2" lying around, and I think I broke one of the threaded bits because it wasn't tightening all the way.

Attachment holes up top are sized for a #8 wood screw, but I also used a couple of metal self-tapping screws and it worked decently well. If you add a few perimeters, it might be okay for the holes.
