Aladdin Thermos Stand

I traded in my 15 year old truck on a '18 sedan. My truck was big enough that I could carry a Big Gulp sized coffee container to work. This smaller sedan doesn't have that much room. I had to switch to a conventional thermos for my morning coffee. I was annoyed that the thermos would roll back and forth on the floor as I turned or accelerated/braked. I designed this stand to hold the thermos in place as I travel to and from work. I keep it on top of a non-slip drawer liner in a container. Where the thermos used to roll back and forth, now it's the container that shifts around a little.

Let me make this clear. The thing pieces aren't set up to be precise. I pretty much winged this when I designed it in Autodesk123D. Nothing is symmetric other than the spacer and the connector. This first design worked well enough for me that I didn't feel the need to correct the spaces and dimensions. I'm only posting this because I need function more than form in this piece and I'm figuring if someo
