Algae Turf Filter and Light

Algae Turf Filter with associated light. For function see https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Algae_scrubber.

Designed this in two parts, the turf filter itself and the associated light to make the algae grow. I designed the turf filter to clip onto one of the overflows on the sump of my Red Sea REEFER 170, but one can modify it for your system. The light holder is designed to hang on the side of the sump.

The OpenSCAD files are included so that you can modify it for you specific system.

Lights are High Intensity Flush Mount LED Bolt Premium Stainless Steel (3W) version Warm White from Oznium (https://www.oznium.com/led-bolts-prewired-leds/led-bolt) with a 12V AC Adapter (https://www.oznium.com/power-adapters/ac-adapter).

Added a drip leg that is glued to the end of the turf filter to keep the overflow into the sump from making noise.
