AlgoLoop is a new fidget toy invented by Japanese mathematician & artist, Yosuke Ikeda. This is a remix with a easier downloadable .stl file of another artist, @Anefecious. I had trouble downloading and printing the original file so I created a .stl of the model, if you can print the 3mf easily please support the original and not mine. https://makerworld.com/en/models/495120#profileId-409193 Simple Mechanism, Infinite PossibilityThe basic structure is very simple. By moving a tube up and down, a ball inside is propelled forwards.Things get interesting as the number of loops and balls increases. The route of the balls changes by interfering with other balls, and unexpectedly beautiful patterns are created. Mathematical ArtWhat makes AlgoLoop different from other marble machines is that the movement of the balls in the loop is not determined by chance, but by a logical procedure. This is what mathematicians call Automaton. As well as being a fun toy, AlgoLoop is a truly mathematical art.
