Align T-Trex/Trex 700 Helicopter Electronics Platform

There are some simple platforms which clamp around the tail tube of the T-Rex 700 series RC helicopters to enable you to mount equipment (flight controller, GPS, RC receiver, etc.). The tail has the benefit of being away from the main motor and high current flows so is a better location for compasses and receivers.

Print a platform of your chosen length, and two clamps. Fasten with M3 bolts. The full set is available in either 50mm or 80mm widths.

You can also print a fairing/cover to keep dust etc. off the electronics. This should be the same length option as your platform. There are holes so these can be screwed to the platform using 6g screws.

If it's really vital the platform cannot rotate or move (such as if your flight controller is mounted there) you could use a few spots of double sided tape.
