# ALPS Switch Conversion Plate for Atari CX-10

Convert your Atari CX-10 joystick into an Alps-switch joystick! Choose between two plates:

## What’s Included

- `CX10_Alps_High.stl` — raises switches for instant clicks , but more sloppy (will press all of them if you press the whole joystick down at once).
- `CX10_Alps_Low.stl` — lower profile for loose but more specific feel (more travel, but the pivot stops the "all at once" issue).

## You’ll Need

1. Alps-style momentary switches.
2. Donor Atari cable (mine had missing and broken spades so it was no loss in cutting it up).
3. Soldering gear (iron, solder, flux, some spare wire for the daisy-chained ground)
4. Standard CX-10 joystick shell.
5. 3D-printed plate.

## Assembly Instructions

1. **Take it apart**
Remove the likely failing stock dome-contact assembly from your CX-10.

2. **Pick your plate**
Load and print **High** or **Low** profile STL.

3. Install the switches as in the pictures, flipping
