Remix & redesign of source box specifically to fit standard 3-piece alto recorder.
Print the box halves right side up & the cover halves upside down, no supports needed.
I recommend using the 16-mm bolts when assembling as not all the holes are deep enough for the 30-mm size.
After assembling the box halves and the lid halves separately, put a little glue in the hinge-holes of the lid at each end. I used 3/4" wire brads as the hinge pins, inserted thru the holes in the box and into the lid. Finally, use some ShoeGoo or epoxy, applied sparingly, to bond the two halves together.
The tabs in the center need to be filed down until the cover closes with just a little pressure, to help keep the lid closed. The exact amount will depend a bit on how your printer handles those tabs.
