This is more of a thing to make things. There are lots of excellent things to print for Altoids tins, but some of them are kind of a sloppy fit for my tastes. I wanted to be able to design my own items that would fit snug and tight in the tin. I created an OpenSCAD script that will make customizing and creating much easier. My settings are for a very snug fit. Once you push it in past the rolled lip of the tin, you are unlikely to ever get it out again. You can also just print the demo "puck" or the tin liner. I do not recommend that you test fit the solid puck in a tin. It will become unusable thereafter. The solid puck is more intended to have spaces removed from it to accommodate whatever you are storing in your tin. If you test fit the liner, at least you still have a usable container. Good luck. I hope this helps others to start modeling their own Altoids tin projects.
