in 2042, As climate change flooding continues to hammer british cities, a new series of buses are commissioned. These buses are elevated, with the door aligned with the platform height of tram stops. When the annual surface flooding occurs, they are capable of operating in up to a couple of meters of flooding. Most of the time they cover bus routes that are partially flooded to minimise disruption to the wider city. They also form a mobile logistics spine during more major floods. It's a site to warm the heart as watching one plough down a flooded street distributing water, hot tea and collecting priority evacuees.
