Made this first stage feeder guide/saver to protect the feeder cups from wearing out. The PTFE inserts are easily replaceable. This piece can be used if there is already wear in your feeder cup, it will aim the filament directly in the center of the first stage feeder. Un like some of the other designs out there you do not have to remove this to maintain your AMS, The AMS can be disassembled while theses savers are still attached to the buttons. Installation is simple you just snap on to the button on the feeder. The pieces that snap onto the feeder can be delicate use caution snapping them into place, once in place they are very secure. This will fit the older style feeder (pre October 2023), the feeder diameter is around 14.25mm. I am waiting for a new feeder to test the fit for the bigger newer feeder, you might be able to adjust the x and y scale to make these work but I will be coming out with an update soon.
