AMS Unit Labels

When I got my third AMS, it started to get a bit more complicated to track the AMS labels, especially with the more recent Bambu Slicer versions. The Slicer appears to be happy to mix the filaments list up. To remind myself which AMS unit is which, I’ve came up with this simple labelling system design. A label consists of two components, the label mount and the label plate. The label plate fits into the label mount, and can be easily moved and swapped between AMS devices. The slicer labels AMS units “A”, “B”, “C” and “D”. Since you can have up to four AMS units, I’ve included a unique label plate for each unit. To make the labels visible, I use two colour AMS printing, one colour for text, the other for the plate. The included print profiles have been pre-configured with the colouring option. You can be more creative and introduce more colour; how about a different plate colour for each AMS? Aside: I have an AMS filament labelling system, too. If interested, please refer to Maker World
