Hi there, I want first to acclaim the work of two people. the Spiritdude and Harry Chen for his spirulae.
I recently tried to go for metal printing solutions of prototype.
but the problem is the part would be quite heavy and they ask at least 1.5mm wall thickness.. which is then problem so normally our slicers do a good job at inserting an infill. sadly I do not see any way to export a prehollowed and pre-infilled model stl. to get rid of the excess of metal I do not need. this is possible with ultrafue but not with their metal 3d slicers so the best way would be to get a software that hollow a stl and fill it with a given INfill.
as a basis I played with the https://harry7557558.github.io/spirulae/meshgen3/
there you have to choose load a sample (which is basically an equation. Equation I found in the article by the spiritdude there:
https://xyzdims.com/2023/02/09/3d-printing-parametric-generative-3d-infill-geometries/.
with some tweeking you have to remove a, bc d and e i
