After a few attempts, this is my optimised sink strainer.
You will likely have to scale it to your own sink.
It is slightly conical to perfectly fit.
The shared STL has a diameter of 49 at its base and 52.5 at its top.
I highly recommend using a temperature resistant filament, and moisture resistant. Hence, PLA is NOT recommended.
I printed in PETG which behaved really nicely for a full year until it received a large amount of boiling water and partially deformed... :)
Note:
Pouring warm water repeatedly on it will kind of anneal it, so it will slightly shrink over time.
