This is a panel/flush-mount housing for an Anderson SB50 plug. It is intended to be mounted to the outside of a vehicle so needed to be weatherproof.
The body of the housing is angled upward at 5˚ from the front panel to allow any rain or moisture to drain out and is also mostly enclosed to allow it to be completely sealed off using a silicone or polyurethane etc sealant.
There are through-holes sized for M3 bolts which run through the connector locking it in place. The nuts can be tightened down to the other side of the housing or heat-inserted into either the housing or plug itself.
There are 4mm holes on the front panel to allow for rivets or screws. I have also included a version without the mounting holes.
If you are using this for an outdoor / weatherproof installation I recommend printing in ASA as I have for it's excellent weather-resistant properties.
