Updated: 24JUNE2018 - Modified the design so the Beefy BLTouch
I printed the BLTouch mount by OderWat and used it for several months printing PLA. When I upgraded to ABS the heat from the extruder started to warp my PLA upgrades for the ANET A8. The arm on the mount also broke and the mount was difficult to remove because one of the mounting screws was blocked. So I redesigned the BLTouch mount to have wider arms, more support structure and also moved the BLTouch towards the extruder 8mm so both screws can be accessed without taking the BLTouch off. I cut the heat sink in half so I could see the nozzle when loading filament.
Set the X & Y offsets for this mount in the firmware:
define X_PROBE_OFFSET_FROM_EXTRUDER -38
define Y_PROBE_OFFSET_FROM_EXTRUDER -9
define Z_PROBE_OFFSET_FROM_EXTRUDER 0
I also defined the probing locations so the extruder does not crash to the far right when probing.
define LEFT_PROBE_BED_POSITION 15
define RIGHT_PROBE_BED_POSITION 175
