Corner mounting bracket for anet a8:
- allows mounting the frame to a rigid surface (e.g. 18mm plywood or similar surface) with common screws.
- forces the acrylic frame sections into alignment at 90° to the M8 rods during assembly for smoother Y axis travel.
- adds rigidity to the frame and pulls front of y axis down to prevent lifting during aggressive jerk.
- 6 used on the example here (rear and both sides of front box section).
- works with existing popular front and rear braces by other users for Y axis tensioners.
- if already assembled, unassembled the M8 rods one at a time to make it easier.
Use something like a cross head self tapping no.4 (4mm diameter) x 1 1/2" screw (dependant on surface thickness) for mounting, tighten screw fully down (shown loose on image) into the countersunk hole to compress the bracket to the surface.
