When I got my E3D V6 Hotend Clone I started to search for a good mount. As I wanted to use auto leveling I also needed a support for mounting a probe. The mount made by Riwithiy was quite good but there were a few things I disliked:
- screws are driven directly into the plastic
- very tight tolerances when fitting to the linear bearings
- position of fan is not adjustable
- when the fan duct for the 40mm fan is mounted you cannot turn the screw nuts that are holding the probe
I reconfigured the base holder so that you can insert screw nuts for mounting the hotend and the belt tensioner.
I increased the tolerences for the screws that connect the base mount to the linear bearings.
The radial fan can be moved in the y direction.
I moved the probe holder so that you can turn the screw nuts that are holding the probe.
I am using this belt tensioner: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2253143
and this probe: LJC18A3-H-Z
I also created a fan duct for the radial fan. It shouldn
