Anet A8+ Spool Holder Modifications

I wanted to eliminate the excessive movement of 1kg spools on the stock Anet A8 Plus spool holder. I also wanted to strengthen the stock arm. The internal diameter is 21mm and the external diameter of the cone is 45mm up to 70mm. The height (Z axis) is 25mm but can be adjusted to suit your needs. The spacers are 21mm ID & 50mm OD, 2mm thick.

You will need to print:
2x cones, adjust the Z scaling to suit (25% infill). I printed my cones at Z height of 15mm.
1x Strengthener (50% infill). I printed mine at OD of 15.5mm & 100mm length (Z height).
2x Spacers for stock Anet A8 Plus (25% infill)

This is for the stock Anet A8 Plus spool holder to reduce the movement of the spool on the holder which reduces the risk of it breaking.

The strengthener needs to a tight fit inside the stock tube. If your print is under sized, use some kind of epoxy adhesive to fill the gap and bond the 2 parts together. I used a digital vernier caliper to get all my dimensions. You can see my strengthen
