Direct Drive Extruder for Anet ET4
Several new bolts are needed
M3x30mm 2pc for motor,
M3x14-15mm 1pc for extruder handle,
M3x12 1pc + nut for shroud and new part.
It is a good idea to first print "Direct Drive I" and make the printer direct drive and then print "Direct Drive II" gcode file.
For maximum strength and elimination of the bending of the part when motor pushing filament, the top and bottom layers are 6 each and the lines of the layers must be oriented vertically.
The gcode is for PETG with 6 layers top and bottom, retraction speed 30mm and retraction distance 2mm.
The motor and key cables must be extended. Also the direction of the stepper motor must be reversed, it is very easy two of the wires must be exchanged. There is a lot of information on the Internet about reversing the direction of a stepper motor.
I think that the printer works much better than before.
