This model is my first attempt at an analog angle to sinus/cosinus and back convertoor (the flat version was design later on)It uses the sine wave (one period) to accurately read the corresponding sinus and cosinus (which is for the same curve the point 90° to the side) of any angle.It also works of course to find the value of an angle from a sinus or cosinus.Testing have shown a presicion of around two to one degree in the reverse mode and around 0.02 to 0.03 in the normal mode. In order to read or place the correct value of the sinus/cosinus, you have to look at the middle of the slot (which had to be this large for readabilty), you can use the graduation on both sides to make it so (or read it so) the your value is the average of both The model is print in place and requires no assembly, perfect as conversion sarter or for education purposes it should work just after leaving your printbed.
