Ant Bait Feeder

It all started with a browse on a contribution by Gazorpa [ https://www.thingiverse.com/gazorpa/designs] on a wasp bait. I need some similar thingy to trap the flies lurking around.

The real question now is - how do you put a trap, in your kitchen and safely without consumed by toddlers ? (i do have 1, aged 4.5). This might be the best solution, at the moment.
