These is a AntWeight/Fairy Weight combat robot project developed with my middle school students. We targeted being well below the fairyweight, 150 grams, enabling beginning students having latitude to grow their project. Our fairy weight iteration ends up weighing around 137 grams. The blank file can be used to create their own designs such as forks, etc. The room inside the robot needs to be left open for electronics etc.
It needs two N20 motors for the drive, either a 600 rpm or 1000 rpm version.
The motors will need JST pig tails soldered on the motors to go to the motor controller.
This is the motor controller I used:
Bidirectional 5A ESC Brushed Speed Controller Dual Way ESC 2S-3S Lipo
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B083WDRP24/ref=ox_sc_act_title_8?smid=A1EGCWMH51R7JD&psc=1
The motor controller would be best used by shortening the JST leads to save weight and space inside the bot.
We used this radio set, Flysky FS-i6X RC Transmitter and Receiver FS-iA6B, and shortened
