The cylinder rolls down the slide, but the double cone rolls up. It's because double cone's specific shape allows its center of mass to actually lower as it moves up.Recommended print settings: Slide:Orientation (it must be so, to avoid layer lines on rolling surface of the slide):Settings: if your 3D printer prints bridges badly, you should use supports under them; other settings aren't important. Double cone and cylinder:Orientation:Settings for double cone: 70-100% infill density; rectilinear infill pattern; other settings aren't important.Settings for cylinder aren't important.Double cone assembly:Double cone must be assembled with glue or double sided tape like shown on the pictures below. The goal of this model:The goal of this model is to show to people physics in an interesting way, through experiment, not through calculations.
