Anycubic ACE Filament Guide

Anycubic Kobra 3 Combo, ACE Filament Guide. This accessory enhances the filament path of the ACE to minimise the risk of 'Tangle Errors' when spools run low of filament. By creating an arc from the ACE ingress point and lifting the entry point above the middle of most spools it makes it easier for the machine to empty spools. This reduces "Tangle Errors" and reduces the load on the first stage feeder. Each spool needs a 6cm length of standard filament tubing (bowden tube, PTFE tube) of not greater than 4mm outer diameter, to slot into the feeder riser into which the filament is fed. It goes right into the ACEs feeder mechanism. There is also a hole for the feeder lights to shine through so you can still see the light feedback from the unit. When printed make sure the hole for the PTFE tubing is clear and that the bottom 'lip' remains intact. The bottom lip is what stops the PTFE tube feeding into the ACE's first stage feeder. I recommend printing in PETG but the profile is set to PLA as I believe that is what most folks are printing. There is a risk that on retraction / unloading, the filament guide may lift up. This was only happening on one of the units we tested it upon and was addressed successfully with a small piece of double sided sticky tape between the filament guide and the front of the ACE feeder rail.
