I designed this mod to be a "print-and-forget" solution that gives your Kobra X a professional, managed look while extending the life of your wiring. By supporting the cable’s natural arc, The ANYCUBIC KOBRA X - Cable Guide prevents "cable fatigue" and ensures your wiring harness doesn't snag on prints or the gantry during high-speed moves. Easy to print and even easier to instal. Dual Cable Connectors: These anchor the system at both ends. Material Tip: TPU is highly recommended for the best grip and flexibility, but PLA works just fine. Print directly from the 3MF file to avoid problems with overhangs. The Main Cable Guide: This provides the structure to keep everything upright and tidy. Printing: I’ve included a highly optimized 3MF file. Print the guide in PLA using this file to ensure you get the best structural profile without needing any messy supports. Optimized Print Settings: I’ve tuned the 3MF file for maximum strength-to-weight ratio. I recommend: Walls: Only 2 walls. Wall Thickness: Set to 0.65 mm. Why? This creates a "tough-but-flexible" part. It’s thick enough to be indestructible but thin enough to have the "spring" needed to snap onto the cables without breaking. Installation: It’s a 30-second job. Snap the connectors to the ends, slide the guide over your cable, and pop it into the inlets. No screws, no supports, no headache.
