An iris box design with 8 doors, producing a sliding octagonal aperture. I also named it the aperture box as it looks very similar to the Aperture Science logo from the Portal game universe. It is opened by twisting the handles on the doors in a clockwise direction.
I also have many more Iris box designs which you can find on my [Thingiverse](https://www.thingiverse.com/brienallison/designs) and [MyMiniFactory](https://www.myminifactory.com/users/Brien%20Allison) profile pages including an improved version of this design ['Aperture-Iris Box'](https://www.myminifactory.com/object/3d-print-aperture-iris-box-85011). I have also produced a general [Instructable guide](https://www.instructables.com/Decorative-Iris-Box-Guide/) on how to print my iris boxes to a high quality.
The box is approximately 80mm wide, 80mm tall and has a 64mm container opening. The part files are designed for M2x6 countersunk/flathead screws [such as these](https://www.amazon.com/uxcell-Stainless-Countersunk-P
