Apple iMac 2011 camera module housing

I developed this to house some camera modules removed from old (2011) iMacs. These cameras are of reasonable quality and will work just like a regular USB camera after connecting the appropriate wires to a USB socket. You may need to search for info about exactly how to do that.

The housing is printed in two parts and superglued together. The finished housing can be attached to the top of a computer monitor with adhestive strips (such as 3M command strips), and a mobile phone camera shutter can be optionally added.

This design is rough and offered only as a starting point or concept for anyone else who wants to repurpose one of these cameras!
