Apple pencil tray

Like many pilots I use Foreflight on my iPad and I take notes on the screen using an apple pencil. I use a strap with clips that hold the iPad securely on my upper leg, a simple and very effective solution but until now I didn't have a convenient place to rest my pencil. Normally the pencil latches magnetically to the side of the iPad but this is now unavailable due to the knee board clips being in the way (see picture). This little tray is my simple solution that has worked pretty well for me. It's a small tray that is just big enough to hold the Apple pencil and clips to the top of the iPad (with Apple screen cover).
