Apprentice Machinists Vice

This is a classic design that many mechanical apprentices will have made during their early training. I made mine in the 1980's.

While it will not test your milling, turning and thread cutting skills, it may challenge your printer setup skills to get the best thread form and sliding fit for the jaw to travel smoothly.

The Jaw Screw is M10 and the main threaded screw is M12.
