Spinner made to look like an AR15 bolt face. It is printed in 2 halves and glued together. Hollow areas give this asymmetrical part good balance. Since the end caps are bowl shaped, they are in 2 pieces that you glue together. Add a drop of black paint to the middle of the caps after gluing to make it look like a firing pin hole.
Gluing: Wash off whatever print-bed glue you used, then scuff the surfaces with sand paper. I lay the sand paper on a flat surface and rub the part on the paper. For the end caps I used gel super glue. For the 2 body halves super glue sets too quickly, so I used a very thin layer of clear 5 minute epoxy and 4 clamps. Each clamp squeezing 2 fingers together.
For the spinner body, you must have a bearing installed before gluing. I installed the bearing in one half then buttered both halves with a very thin layer of epoxy. I then mated the 2 halves together, rotated the halves into good alignment, applied the clamps and wiped the excess squeezed out.
