All the parts shown were printed in PLA and came out pretty well. The light ring and centre were printed in a transparent filament with 6 bottom and top layers and 50% infill. All the grey parts were printed with 100% infill, with the exception of the base that was 50% infill.

I used 16 blue LEDs that were 9000MCD, as well as a 3V battery pack(2xAA). All the lights were soldered in series using insulated copper wire. I hooked it up to a 6V battery pack(4xAA), it hurt my eyes a bit but it was pretty cool. (I don't recommend this because it can cook the LEDs if left on for too long)

The whole thing was glued together with hot glue, epoxy would be more permanent though

I have also included the base model as f3d, in case someone wanted to include the battery pack into the base
