I'm not sure if this is really a remix - maybe better to say inspired by. I printed a number of the originals and a case for them. But this is a rebuild of the pin with the Fusion 360 files. I took out the side flare so they fit tighter in the new case and rounded the grips so the cap would fit regardless of orientation.

The cap benefits from having the outside edge of the snap knocked down with a file - it makes it easier to get on the case and doesn't affect releasing the cap. if you print with a 0.4mm nozzle, two of the dimples will go all the way through since the wall thickness is only .25mm there.

I printed some of the originals at 20% infill. They were pretty durable, but eventually broke off at the base of the pin. I attempted printing this one with 100% infill, but so far that has been a failure.

To be honest, ring-shank nails are probably better pins. If I were really wanting to make some good custom pins, I'd just make end caps for nails.
