ARCJET THRUSTER

This is a small Arcjet thruster with a 40:1 expansion nozzle. This prototype Arcjet thruster has a high temperature plasma for high efficiency thrust. The nozzle has ports for liquid film cooling. The chamber is a high temperature quartz that is liquid cooled. This igniter is driven by RF power to maintain the plasma state with in the combustion chamber.
