Accurate Art Deco Styled Moon Phase Clock v1 An art deco design which accurately shows the daily moon phase. The hour hand drives 3 gears (13T→133T/11T→127T) which rotates the moon disc once every 59.059 days, completing one lunar cycle every 29.53 days. Moon models are modified from DBow's Hueforge model. Parts ListQuartz clock mechanism: the model I used was a 5168S with a 23mm shaft. Note: longer shafts will work, but shorter shafts will not! This particular model can be found for a few euro on AliExpress and other placesM4 washer for second gearPrinting InstructionsPrinted entirely with PLA.Hands, face plate and backplate all used surface ironing: 60 mm/s, 30% infill worked well for me.Gears needed to be printed with slow initial layer for proper adhesion of teeth.Moon plate should be printed with the smallest layer lines possible.
