Art Supply Drawers

We were tasked to create something to make a teacher's life easier, so we met with one of the art teachers. She showed us her cabinet, which was very large, but filled with only small materials at the bottom. She told us she wanted to more efficiently use the space, so we decided we would make her some sliding drawers that could hang from the top so that the space in the top of the cabinet could be used. This is what we designed.

There are 9 pieces that create the frame for the drawers; 3 middle pieces, 3 right pieces, and 3 left pieces. They each have holes in the top, so they can be screwed into the bottom of the wooden shelf. These 9 pieces have indentations in the side, so the drawers (which have small extrusions to fit in. Between each set of 3 frame pieces, there are 3 track extenders, which create a more solid platform for the drawers to slide along.
