I created this articulated, cartoonish octopus as a test of print-in-place chain links. It requires a larger printer bed to print at 100%, as each leg is connected to the body directly and can't be printed separately. This version includes a hole on the bottom end of each leg to allow a 3mm rare earth magnet to be inserted, allowing it to stick to metallic objects like refrigerators or computer cases. The head is already hollow by design, to save on filament when printing. It's designed to require no extra supports and be fully articulated right off the print bed.
The links for each leg were based loosely on the cool [Fish Fossilz](http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1276095) model by muzz64.
I printed the figures in the photos on my Printrbot Metal Plus in glow-in-the-dark PLA.
