Assault frigate

Like many people I used to love multi part plastic model kits in my youth, you know the Airfix, Testors, Revell type things. So I decided to try the same thing with the added advantages of scalability, easier mods, choosing the subject matter and of course price! This is my first attempt in that direction.

So here's my first void warship, the assault frigate. It differs from the standard frigate (built but not uploaded yet) in heavier armament, additonal vectoring drive modules, greater resulting mass and of course the fore bulls head shield. This is itself heavily energetically shielded and is primarily used as an ablative barrier allowing the assault frigate to,... assault more heavily armed vessels and installations whilst keeping it's own critical systems largely out of harms way.
