Joanne approached TOM as a need-knower looking for a way to brush her teeth independently. A group of appropriately skilled makers with a background in dentistry, engineering, design and occupational therapy came together to find a solution for Joanne.Joanne has a neurological degenerative muscular disease which limits her mobility in her arms and legs.
